Abstract

This paper addresses, from a situated perspective, the processes of misinformation and misrepresentation to which a public science sector in Argentina was subjected during 2023. The essay covers a series of specific events linked to the spread of hate speech towards the human and social sciences in various media. The work presents the description of a series of communicative and informative drifts related to biographical and professional trajectories. Likewise, in this writing we consider the effects at a subjective, collective and symbolic level of hatred towards sex-dissident science.
